A year of your life in photos

1.  Look at the photos you have and see which are the best and what looks good. Contrasting colours go well together, like yellow and purple, red and green, light pink and grey.

2. Pick a theme or a season for your layout. If you have chosen the whole year, you could have family outings or birthdays for the whole family or seasons as your theme.

3. Make a single page layout of one month or a Year from your life.

4. Cut the photos or copies into simple shapes, squares, rectangles circles are good for faces.

5. Put the photos you picked on the cardstock and arrange them in an order you like. You could start from the New Year and go to Christmas, or start with the youngest birthday then move to the oldest person. Or do the same holiday for a few different years, e.g.: all the Christmases the family has shared through the years or all the pets you have had. It would be good for children to have that, especially if a favourite pet has died and they miss them.

6. Adhere the photos backwards, by starting with the bottom ones first, then adding the next layer. Use circles to cover corners that you want hidden or bits of photos you want to hid.

7. Leave your page to dry in a sunny warm spot, but out of direct sunlight. Make sure the glue you use is acid and lignin free so it will last a long time.
