Scrapbooking totes make life easier in so many ways. They are sold in many different shapes, colours, sizes and price ranges, so there is sure to be one to suit you.
- They keep all your precious items together and tidy, so they aren’t getting thrown around a bag and getting ripped or broken.
- Easier to move around than a bag or backpack. Most totes come with wheels, some with wheels can be folded away and out again so you can be off quickly to a scrap class. They are also easier on your back, you really don’t want to be lugging around heavy equipment you won’t use.
- They keep your materials organised so you can find what you want quickly. Most have separate slots sew in for your pens and scissors.
- Look for one that has a lot of storage space. Pockets, pouches, zippered compartments are all handy, but they are only handy if you use them to their full advantage. Think about what you really need in a tote and what you really want to take with you. Don’t make the mistake of carting stuff around you will never use.
Be sure to empty your scrapbooking totes regularly and take out stuff you don’t use and throw out bits of rubbish and crap that falls down the bottom. You could even try to vacuum the inside to clean it out. Or you could open all the compartments and tip it upside down and shake it.
