Birthdays and anniversaries: great times to get pics of elderly relatives. They will appreciate the hard work that goes into scrapbooking when you give them and album full of memories of their lives.
Easter: full of chocotunities! Lots of chocolate, bright paper, smiling faces, smudged cheeks, running around grass trying to find eggs, fantastic opportunities to photograph your kids and family.

Other religious holidays and celebrations: such as Hanukah. Make sure you take some great shots of the Menorah.
Weddings: church, gardens, dress, the bride, the groom. Make sure you have a flash or try to get as much light as possible. Churches usually have beautiful stained glass windows, so try to get some of them in the shot. Also flowers always look cute, so try to snap them with the ring or bouquet.
Public holidays: ANZAC Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day,
Children’s birthday parties: These are colourful opportunities to capture your kids laughing, playing with other kids, eating colourful food, balloons, and streamers. Try to get some outside shots, some with them sitting still posing, and some action shots. A digital camera with a “sport” mode is handy, as you press the button once and the camera takes numerous shots for you. Just remember to keep the camera still.
